Jos Peeters
Director
Jos Peeters holds a PhD in solid state physics from the University of Leuven. Dr Peeters is founder and managing partner of Capricorn Venture Partners, an independent venture capital company specializing in early-stage, technology-based growth companies. He is president of EASDAQ, of which he was a founder. He is also founder and chairman of Quest for Growth, an investment company listed on Euronext Brussels specializing in listed and later-stage unlisted technology-based growth companies. Dr Peeters has been a Director of Innogenetics since May 1995 and is also director of Easdaq Consultancy Ltd (now Equiduct Ltd), Capricorn Venture Fund NV, Baring Capricorn Ventures Ltd (until March 2005), Capricorn Venture Fund II NV, Quest Management NV, Quest Management Sicav SA, MediVita Management NV (until March 2006), International Private Equity Services Ltd, International Private Equity Services Belgium NV (until September 2005), PolyTechnos (GP) Ltd, PolyTechnos Management Ltd, Ortec International BV, EcoPhos SA (until May 2005), Orthovita Inc (until April 2002), Omrix Biopharmaceuticals Inc (until February 2006), and J.B.P.-International BVBA. He is the permanent representative of Capricorn Venture Partners NV at the board of directors of Capricorn Cleantech Fund NV and EcoPhos SA. Prior to the founding of Capricorn Venture Partners in 1993, he worked for Bell Telephone Manufacturing Company, PA Technology, and BeneVent Management. Dr Peeters was cofounder and first chairman of the Belgian Venturing Association. He has been a member of the board and in 1989/1990 was chairman of the European Venture Capital Association (EVCA).
