In May 2004, Innogenetics gained access to PamGene’s microarray technology for the development of its 4-MAT™ platform. The exclusive license secured by Innogenetics for PamGene’s technology covers dedicated instrumentation in those areas where Innogenetics is currently active. The agreement includes an upfront payment, staged development milestone fees for new tests, and royalties on sales. This multiparameter diagnostic platform will be one of the cornerstones of Innogenetics’ growth objectives in the field of specialty diagnostics, starting with selected HLA and CFTR tests.
