Multi-parameter assay
Just a strip allowing the simultaneous detection of mutations, wild types, allelic variants, genotypes, or several species-identifying parameters.
Reverse hybridization technology
Probes are coated as parallel lines on a nitrocellulose membrane offering many advantages over the more classical technologies such as sequencing, SSP, serology, etc.
Probes
The probes are designed to hybridize specifically with their complementary sequences.
Point mutations, multiple base pair mutations, small and large deletions or insertions, and repeats can be detected.
Procedure controls
One line controls for the color reaction and one test line controls for the addition of specific amplified material.
A LiPA control-sample demonstrates satisfactory test performance and validates correct hybridization temperature.
Simple, automatable assay
The procedures are easy and no special equipment is required.
Automation with Auto-LiPA 48 is optional
Easy automatable interpretation
Most products are compatible with LiRAS®, a software package that provides objective reading and interpretation of the results.
