Rhein Biotech GmbH (part of Dynovax Europe)

In March 1999, Innogenetics concluded a strategic collaboration with Rhein Biotech in the field of biotechnological production. Under this research collaboration and license agreement, Innogenetics and Rhein Biotech agreed to establish a research program to develop Hansenula polymorpha strains for the production of specific proteins to be used by Innogenetics in products with therapeutic, prophylactic, diagnostic, or research applications.

Innogenetics is providing funding to Rhein Biotech for the research program, jointly performed by Rhein Biotech and Innogenetics. Any Hansenula polymorpha strain developed through this research program, including any related patent rights, will be the exclusive property of Innogenetics NV.
